50th anniversary trailer for ‘Star Trek Timelines’ stars John de Lancie

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Star Trek, Disruptor Beam has released a brand new trailer for Star Trek Timelines.

The trailer is narrated by John de Lancie himself, and showcases various starships from Star Trek, including the Enterprise NX-01, which will soon be added to the game. You can combine crewmembers from the Star Trek series and mix them with your favorite ship.

Star Trek Timelines is available on the App Store or Google Play.

Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Raven” Performed by John de Lancie

John de Lancie takes on Edgar Allen Poe’s immortal classic, “The Raven“.
“The Raven” is a narrative poem by Edgar Allan Poe, first published in January 1845, that is often noted for its musicality, stylized language, and supernatural atmosphere.
The narration tells of a talking raven’s mysterious visit to a distraught lover, tracing the man’s slow descent into madness. The lover is lamenting the loss of his love, Lenore. Sitting on a bust of Pallas, the raven seems to further instigate his distress with its constant repetition of the word “Nevermore”.

As the Sydney Symphony prepares for its European tour this month, including performances at the Edinburgh International Festival, Vladimir Ashkenazy has unveiled one of the orchestra’s most ambitious seasons to date.

The maestro has dipped into his ”little black book” of contacts and persuaded some of the world’s virtuoso talents to perform exclusively for its 2011 season, which will be Ashkenazy’s third year as principal conductor and artistic adviser.
